Manchester City Have Offered Leicester City €45m For Caglar Soyuncu.

According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Manchester City have offered Leicester City €45m (£38.4m) for Caglar Soyuncu.

The centre-back has been in fine form for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season, and with the Cityzen’s seemingly keen to strengthen in that area, it appears they’ve opened up negotiations for the 23-year-old.

Soyuncu arrived in the Premier League from Freiburg in August 2018 however has excelled under Rodgers’ management. The Turk has formed a formidable partnership alongside the highly-experienced Jonny Evans and the pair have been key to the Foxes success so far this season.

Although Manchester City currently trail Leicester in the table, it’s highly likely they'll invest heavily in the summer and return to challenging for the Premier League crown come next season.

Pep Guardiola is considered to be one of world football’s finest coaches, with Jurgen Klopp suggesting as much, and may have a far bigger pull than Brendan Rodgers, who's yet to win a major trophy in England.
