Nicki Minaj Madame Tussauds Waxwork Branded Disrespectful

Madame Tussauds may be known for it is hyper-realistic, lifelike waxwork models, however it seems sometimes it doesn’t get things quite right.

The Berlin branch of the famous wax museum proudly unveiled it is new Nicki Minaj model this week, no uncertainty expecting a rapturous applause from the world.

However, after photos of the new addition to the museum surfaced online, not everyone has had particularly nice things to say about it.

In fact, some people are downright angry.

The wax model is a replica of Nicki from her music video for 2014 hit ‘Anaconda’, in which the singer is wearing a gold chain bra and collar, high-waisted black pants and shiny gold heels, her hair also scraped back into a long ponytail.

For the waxy duplicate, Nicki’s been positioned on a table on all fours, with a leafy backdrop paying homage to the jungle theme of the video.

Thing is, many fans figure it looks absolutely nothing like her, having branded the piece ‘disrespectful’.

One person tweeted: “To whoever made this wax figure – ARE YOU FREAKING BLIND? HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO THE QUEEN. YA GOT ME F**KED UP. AND YOU KNOW WHY I’M EVEN MORE UPSET? Look at her tattoo. The Chinese symbols aren’t the same. Ya got me fucked up @NICKIMINAJ @MadameTussauds #nickiminaj #madametussauds.”

Another added: “I’m not even the biggest Nicki Minaj fan however even I know THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL!!!”

While a few people suggested it looked more like Kourtney Kardashian of Amerie, another was reminded of the embarassingly rubbish bronze bust of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

You may think you’ve seen a similar model of Minaj before, as the same design has been used at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas – and many people didn’t like it then, either.

That one also had other problems of it is own, as visitors kept trying to hump it, in turn prompting the museum to amp up it is security and ‘redesign’ the waxwork statue.
